Aid & Attendance Trust
It is the sworn duty of this Nation, established by President Lincoln and passed by Congress in 1971.
Aid & Attendance Benefit
Seniors who served in wartime and spouses qualify for thousands of dollars monthly for care.
Qualified Military Service
You Qualify if:

Served at least 90 days of active duty, at least 1 day during a war
-
Do not have a dishonorable discharge
-
Surviving spouse is married to veteran upon veteran's passing
-
May not be remarried, unless to another wartime veteran
-
Require assistance for the activities of daily living

Meet income and countable asset criteria established by the VA
-
Must be 65 years and older or totally disabled
Qualifying wartime theaters
It’s not necessary to have been in combat:

World War II December 7, 1941, to December 31, 1946
-
Korean Conflict June 27, 1960, to January 31, 1955
-
Vietnam War Era - November 1, 1955, to May 7, 1975
and
August 5, 1964, to May 7, 1975
-
Persian Gulf War - August 2, 1990, to date to be determined
